Soul Driver picked up career victory #1 with an impressive Maiden allowance score going 1 1/8 on the turf at Santa Anita. Jockey Tyler Baze and Soul stalked the speed early, moved up along the backside, took the lead at the top of the stretch, and finished strongly for the game victory and the Lion’s share of the $58,000 purse. Soul Driver came out of the race well and has a number of options moving forward. Congratulations to all of the partners!
In other racing news…Bloom Racing stable sends out a trio of runners this week! Dream Police gets things started Wednesday in a MSW down the hill at Santa Anita. Dream drew the #2 post and will be ridden by Fernando Perez. Later in the day, Blooming Hannah takes on Maiden 75k foes going 5.5 furlongs on the main track. Hannah drew the outside post #10 and will have Tyler Baze in the irons. A big week for Bloom Racing Stable continues at GGF on Friday, when Hidden Reality takes on MSW company. Hidden Reality drew the #4 post with jockey Dennis Carr aboard. HR ran a good 2nd at Santa Anita last time out and should be tough to beat with slight improvement.
