Richard Baltas Racing Stables treated to “trainer appreciation BBB” by Bloom Racing Stables
Both Richard Baltas Racing Stables AND Bloom Racing Stables had cause for celebration. Each ended up as meet leaders in Del Mar. To celebrate, a BBQ was held for the entire Baltas stable.
In any relationship whether it be friend, romance or business, it is clear that comradery is key. That’s what this past Monday was all about with Bloom Racing Stables. Long-time friend and partner with Bloom Racing Stables, Andrew Yaffe, was gracious enough to team up and host a BBQ for one of our dedicated trainers and his team – Richard Baltas.
The afternoon kicked off with an ideal beach set-up that consisted of reclined chairs, waxed surfboards, umbrellas, beach games and of course; perfect San Diego weather. Baltas and his team of about 25 arrived shortly after set-up to indulge in the relaxing afternoon amongst family and friends. Following a few beach activities and a quick swim/surf it was time to eat. Local favorite, Bull Taco (a prominent “Inauthentic Mexican Food” restaurant & catering co.) arrived to serve up some tasty eats which included an array of tortillas, meat, salsa, beans and rice to fulfill the appetites of many. Paired with an imported cerveza, the tacos were outstanding and they “hit the spot!”
Within the beautiful oceanfront home of Bloom Racing partner Andrew Yaffe, the evening concluded with a gorgeous sunset along with laughs and conversation amongst one another, reminiscing on the Del Mar horse racing meet and future success. Cookies were brought out soon after to help satisfy those with a sweet tooth and the night wrapped up nicely. Bloom Racing Stable gives thanks to those who were able to make it.
The dedicated team at Baltas Racing Stables contributed to the success this meet at Del Mar for Bloom Racing Stables.
