Jeffrey Bloom is a thoroughbred industry veteran for more than 37 years. He was a professional jockey in addition to serving as a racing manager, bloodstock agent, marketing and media relations consultant and broadcaster. During his riding career, Jeffrey raced at many of the major tracks throughout North America including his first race at Del Mar in front of a hometown crowd having grown up in San Diego, CA. After retiring as a jockey, Jeffrey became the main workout rider for leading trainers that include Hall of Famer Charlie Whittingham where he was privileged to have worked out countless Grade 1 winners that include 1989 Kentucky Derby winner Sunday Silence.
